Dr. Wendy Bunn is a licensed psychologist in the State of Arizona and is the Sr Director of Clinical Education for Copa Health. Dr. Bunn graduated with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University/Phoenix in 2009. She has over 24 years of experience working in community behavioral health settings for non-profit organizations in the Phoenix metropolitan area. She started her career working with children diagnosed with autism and later became a clinician working with children, teens, and families in schools and outpatient clinics. She gained crisis stabilization and substance abuse knowledge and expertise when working on a secured acute inpatient facility and an outpatient opioid replacement during her internship year. Dr. Bunn spent five years of her career providing supervision to doctoral practicum, intern, and post-doctoral students and was the program administrator for continuing education programming for behavioral health professionals offered to the community for free. Dr. Bunn was awarded the Patriot Award in 2018. For three years, Dr. Bunn gained experience as an executive as the Vice President of Copa Health’s Housing and Community Support Services programs. Dr. Bunn believes in providing trauma-informed care with compassion and working collaboratively with stakeholders in the community to ensure members receive the best quality of care possible.
